To achieve our cultural aspirations, we provide a wide range of programmes, resources, and opportunities to help guide, empower and connect our people to their Raukawatanga. Through our mahi, we aim to revitalise and normalise our reo, culture and identity.
Te Turanga / The role:
Due to an internal movement, we have an exciting opportunity for a skilled senior administrator or PA to support the Group Manager & Kakara Whakarei group in our efforts to realise the cultural aspirations of Raukawa marae, hapū & uri.
With location being negotiable, the Personal Assistant to the Kakara Whakarei Group Manager is a pivotal role, ensuring a well organised, effective and efficient team environment through provision of admin support. This includes but is not limited to coordinating of meetings, diary and travel management, implementation and review of systems and processes, and supporting the wider team with administration. The role will also assist in managing key stakeholder and strategic partner relationships.
Experience and professionalism are vital in this role. We will be looking for someone who can work proactively in a dynamic environment whilst maintaining a high level of confidentiality and trust. Competency with the Microsoft Office suite and the ability to learn new databases is a must, as is a sound knowledge of Raukawa tikanga and proficiency or developing proficiency in te reo Māori.
Being a skilled administrator, you will be a self-starter, organised and effective in managing multiple workstreams and priorities. You will possess a "can do" attitude, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and attention to detail. You will also have a strong internal customer focus, being able to establish and maintain positive working relationships with all people and at all levels. Former experience working with iwi, marae or hapū would be advantageous.
